ALTOONA, Pa. -- Kevin Givens is still feeling his way through the recruiting process, and getting plenty assistance in doing so from Altoona (Pa.) High coach John Franco.

The Class of 2015 running back and linebacker is returning the favor by being the heart and soul of Franco's Mountain Lions' team, which lost 21-0 last Friday to Gateway (Monroeville, Pa.).

Givens was everywhere, which made sense, considering the Altoona head coach said afterward that he was the only player in maroon that could match up with Gateway's speed and athleticism.

Temple is one of his two offers to date, and ironically enough, it came from former Gateway head coach Terry Smith. He's now Owls' receivers coach. The University of Massachusetts has also offered.

The junior has no visits planned, though is still receiving Penn State interest after camping at University Park this summer. Pittsburgh has reached out, as well.

Fight On State was at Mansion Park to take in the action. Cut-ups of Givens' night can be found above.
