Greg Pickel with yet another detailed report on late breaking developments with Penn State football recruiting, including visiting prospects and new offers.

Penn State's biggest recruiting weekend of the season is less than 24 hours away, and thus it was no surprise that Thursday was rather quiet. Still, some news to pass along as we head into the official introduction of Penn State's new coaching staff Friday.

A new 2015 offer went out Thursday, this one to Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake athlete and early five-star George Campbell. It was his 23rd offer to date, second in the Big Ten, and he also held a Vanderbilt offer.

Kentucky defensive end and verbal commit Lloyd Tubman posted a photo with his family along with James Franklin and Sean Spencer. What's impressive about that? The end boards a plane to State College tomorrow, yet the staff flew to Kentucky to visit with them tonight.

Speaking of planes, California safety Koa Farmer tweeted he has landed, but I'm checking into if that's State College or elsewhere. It's of interest because of when his 48-hour official visit clock starts, but he's definitely coming to...
