FRANKLY SPEAKING: Tuesday Recruiting Notes

Get a review of Penn State football's latest Class of 2015 activities after a brief break by the staff and the visitors expected at the coming Junior Day.

The lights are back on at the Lasch Building following a well-deserved couple days off for Penn State's staff. The work to build the class of 2015 is, too.

We dive head first into another week, this one culminating with the Lions' first Junior Day of the cycle Saturday.

Updating the Offer Board

Penn State sent out an offer Monday night to Stephenville (Tx.) four-star quarteback Jarrett Stidham, a name that first popped up here at FOS during last week's look at 2015 prospects that had Vanderbilt offers.

Stidham did not return calls seeking comment Monday night, but with offers from just about every top-15 team in the country, it's undoubtedly going to be a feat if Penn State even gets him to campus. We'll see if we can get more from the signal caller Tuesday.

In other news, a prospect that had an offer previously, Jersey City (N.J.) St. Peter's Prep four-star corner Minkah Fitzpatrick, was the topic of conversation here on TAP Monday. Fitzpatrick confirmed he spoke with the Nittany Lions' staff on National Signing Day, one of a few prospects that called into the staff, and added that they have also been by St. Peter's. He won't visit for junior day, but said he will visit University Park this spring or early in the summer.

Updating the Junior Day List

Between basketball and wrestling post-season events, plus potential weather havoc, this list could change a bit before Saturday. Here's who we got coming as of Tuesday morning, though:
