New Penn State coach James Franklin wasted no time proving he knows how to throw one heck of a Junior Day.

A host of Class of 2015 prospects were on campus Saturday. As of this writing, three of them had committed to the Nittany Lions.

The latest was Maryland four-star defensive end Kamonte Carter, according to FightOnState.com's Greg Pickel.

Carter's offer list is impressive — Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska are just a handful of the schools in hot pursuit.

Earlier Saturday, we learned New England athlete Jarvis Miller and Pennsylvania four-star offensive lineman Ryan Bates had committed to the Nittany Lions. They are the first three members of PSU's Class of 2015.
