Robinson Pledges to Penn State

The Harrisburg, Pa., Bishop McDevitt running back ended his recruitment Thursday, just days after an unofficial visit to University Park.

Andre Robinson called the opportunity to pick the brain of James Franklin and his staff Monday "a good opportunity."

So good, in fact, that the Harrisburg, Pa., Bishop McDevitt four-star running back ended his recruitment just days later. Thursday evening, he announced he had committed to Penn State.

"Excited to announce my commitment to Penn State!" Robinson wrote in a tweet. "To God be the glory. WE ARE."

Robinson rushed for 2,338 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2013 for the Crusaders/. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect is ranked as Scout's 14th best running back in the nation.

The junior picked the Lions over nine other offers, namely Ohio State, which he was set to visit in March. Robinson will return to University Park March 21.
