Johnson Makes Sunday Decision

The New Jersey Class of 2015 receiver made the call for Penn State while on an unofficial visit to University Park.

Juwan Johnson was the lone visitor on Penn State's University Park campus Sunday. Now he's the Nittany Lions' eighth commitment.

The Glassboro, N.J., wide receiver ended his recruitment by verbally committing to Penn State head coach James Franklin before leaving campus, he confirmed to Scout.com's Brian Dohn and his coach confirmed to FightOnState.com.

He's the first receiver to join Franklin's Class of 2015 and first commit in March after a seven-prospect haul in February.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound pass catcher had 26 receptions for 421 yards and four scores in 2014. He's the fifth four-star prospect to commit to the Lions in the 2015 cycle. Johnson picked Penn State over 13 other offers, including ones from Alabama and Ohio State.

FightOnState.com will have more on Johnson's commitment later Sunday evening.
