Wideout Polk Picks Penn State

Lions' Class of 2015 now up to nine as Ashburn, Va., Briar Woods receiver made the call Tuesday during an unofficial visit.

Brandon Polk enjoyed his unofficial visit to Penn State last Saturday so much that he felt the need to return Tuesday.

This time, his mother came along. This time, Polk left with his recruiting process having been completed.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Ashburn, Va., Briar Woods four-star receiver confirmed via text message to FightOnState.com that he committed to Penn State and head coach James Franklin while on campus. He's the second receiver to join State's class of 2015, and ninth recruit total.

Polk caught 36 passes for 549 yards and five scores in a 13-2 Falcons' season last fall. He showed his speed by also rushing 22 times for 180 yards and a score.

FightOnState.com and Scout.com will have more on Polk's commitment later Tuesday.
