Penn State needs outside linebackers in its class of 2015. Sunday afternoon, it landed its first of the cycle.
Merrillville, Ind. Andrean High four-star outside linebacker Josh Barajas announced his verbal pledge to the Lions Sunday just over a week after he visited University Park.
"After a long and stressful recruiting process. I'm truly blessed to say I'm committing to Penn State!!" Barajas tweeted. "It's time to takeover baby #WeAre"
Scout.com national analyst Allen Trieu writes that Barajas' best areas include his agility, athleticism, and pass coverage skills.
"Athletic and long, Barajas can run and get to a lot of places on the football field," Trieu wrote in a scouting report. "He is very comfortable in space and has good feet and quickness."
Barajas is Penn State's seventh four-star commitment in the class of 2015 and 11th commitment total. Scout.com and Fight On State will have more on Barajas' decision later Sunday.
