Uschel went a bit later than many expected, as the Baltimore Ravens picked him with the 35th pick of the fifth round. He was the 175th selection overall and the 11th guard taken.
ESPN tabbed Urschel as the 105th-best prospect in the draft and the fifth-best guard.
Urschel was a three-year mainstay on the Penn State offensive line, earning All-Conference honors the past two seasons. He earned the 84th Sullivan Award as the nation's top amateur athlete.
His exploits on the field and in the classroom led to him winning the William V. Campbell Trophy from the National Football Foundation, representative of the top scholar-athlete in the nation.
