FOS TV: Lift For Life Fun

Penn State players enjoyed some friendly competition while working to help a great cause in the 12th annual Lift For Life.

The Penn State chapter of Uplifting Athletes held its 12th annual Lift For Life Challenge at the Lacrosse Field on campus Saturday. The event, which raises money and awareness for the fight against kidney cancer, features the Nittany Lions competing in a series of strength and conditioning tests.

While the primary focus is the charity — the all-time total money raised by PSU LFL was approaching $1 million before this year's event — it is most definitely about competition, too.

In the video above, we talked to some players about the cause and the competition. We also give you a look at what went down in the tug of war battles to end the day — where the rules were just slightly bent.

Check it out.
