TE Breneman Out ”Indefinitely”

Penn State is not specific on the nature of the injury that has sidelined the sophomore.

Penn State sophomore tight end Adam Breneman is out “indefinitely” with an undisclosed injury, according to a press release issued by the program Monday morning.

Breneman missed a portion of spring practice with what was described as a knee injury. A true sophomore who caught 15 passes for 186 yards and three scores last season, he is part of a very deep tight end corps.

With mainstays Jesse James and Kyle Carter returning, and the addition of prep All-American Mike Gesicki to the position, the staff has the luxury of redshirting Breneman if the injury lingers.
