Walking the Walk: New Stadium Entrance

Penn State's trip from the blue buses to Beaver Stadium will be much longer and more fan friendly this season. See what it will look like.

New Penn State coach James Franklin has proven he can talk the talk, winning over fans and recruits before ever working a game with the Nittany Lions.

But can he walk the walk?

Monday morning, he showed he can -- in a way.

Franklin, his staff and the PSU players had a walk-through for the team's new entrance to Beaver Stadium.

In the past, blue buses would drop off the team just outside the south end zone entrance to the stadium. The new plan has the team being dropped off on Porter Road (near Medlar Field) and then walking down the middle of Curtin Road to the south tunnel.

The coaches and players will walk between two blue ropes which will be held by fans. The distance is longer than a football field.

Check out a sneak peek of what the new entrance will look like in the video above.
