Penn State coach James Franklin met the media on the team’s practice field following drills Wednesday.
The last 10 minutes of practice were open to the press, and featured the offense working out in Holuba Hall, with music blasting to simulate the expected crowd noise for the Big Ten opener at Rutgers Saturday. The defense did its work on the outdoor practice field.
Franklin touched on having more scholarships available for the Class of 2015, how much he intends to play his true freshmen backups, communications with QB Christian Hackenberg and much more. He also shouted at a player (who was off camera) for not jogging off the field.
