Zettel Tackles Penn State Fan Honor

Anthony Zettel had another big day this past Saturday, this time against Rutgers. The Nittany Lion faithful thanked him for it by voting him their Player of the Rutgers Game.

With four tackles (four solo), one sack, three tackles for loss and a slew of blown up plays, Anthony Zettel was voted by Penn State fans as the FOS Player of the Rutgers Game. Zettle is currently No. 1 in tackles for loss in the Big Ten with seven and No. 2 in the conference in sacks with three.

Zettle ended up with 54 percent of the fan vote, outpacing another hero in the victory over Rutgers, WR Geno Lewis who came in second with 21 percent.

Zettle has been among the Player of the Game candidates in all three games so far this season and has been a consistent force disrupting opposing pockets and forcing quarterbacks to scramble.

The FOS Player of the Game is the oldest honor for Penn State players given by Penn State fans. Voting takes place exclusively on FightOnState.com after each Penn State football game.
