Murgo’s Penn State Football Forecast

WTAJ’s chief meteorologist provides home-weekend weather reports for PSU fans. What will it be like when the Nittany Lions tangle with No. 8 Michigan State on Senior Day?

Hello Nittany Nation!

After Penn State fans get their fill of turkey and then leftovers, a lot of people will be heading to Beaver Stadium for the regular-season finale vs. Michigan State.

State College did get a few inches of snow, which will be enough to change some parking on grassy surfaces. Make sure you check Penn State's website to keep in touch with information.

The snow will not result in any travel problems to the stadium. It will be chilly for the pregame tailgates with clouds, a few peeks of sunshine and the chance for a shower or a flurry.

That chance for a shower or flurry will continue through the game with a kick off temperature of 36 degrees. The mercury will drop off to near 30 by the end of the game.

Since it will be dark for some of the game, you do want the cold weather gear. There should be no weather issues heading home from the stadium.
