That’s The Ticket: Penn State Sales Brisk

Nittany Lions fans are snapping up tickets for the Pinstripe Bowl. Students braved the cold Saturday morning to buy their allotment.

Penn State is back in a bowl for the first time since the 2011 season, and Nittany Lion fans are excited about it.

As of Saturday night, Penn Staters had purchased more than 11,000 tickets (through official school channels) for the Nittany Lions’ Dec. 27 Pinstripe Bowl appearance against Boston College in New York. That included 1,300 tickets that were snapped up by students in a sale that began at 9 a.m. Saturday.
