Franklin Set for Television Duty

The Penn State coach will be a guest analyst on ESPN’s championship game coverage this week.

Penn State did not advance to the NCAA national championship game this season. But first-year Nittany Lion coach James Franklin will be near the site of the showdown between Ohio State and Oregon this week, working as a guest analyst for ESPN.

Franklin is slated to be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area Thursday, when he will appear on a coaches' roundtable on SportsCenter at about 11:30 a.m. and make another SportsCenter appearance at about 12:20 p.m.

He will also tape segments for ESPN's Championship Drive programs, which will air on ESPN and ESPNews Sunday night.
