Nittany Lions Giving Shirts Off Their Backs

Penn State’s game-worn Blue-White jerseys being auctioned to raise money for the fight against kidney cancer.

Wondering what those little patches on the Penn State jerseys were during Saturday's Blue-White Game?

They were there to promote the Nittany Lions' chapter of Uplifting Athletes, the organization that is run by team members to raise money and awareness for the fight against kidney cancer. PSU UA holds the highly publicized Lift for Life Challenge every summer.

To get some more money rolling in this spring, many of the jerseys worn in the Blue-White Game have gone up for auction. They feature some of the team's most popular numbers.

The auction ends Friday (April 24) at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Also, remember to mark your calendar. The 13th annual Penn State Lift for Life Challenge will take place Saturday, July 11. Further details will be released at a later date.
