#TBT: LB Prospect Mike Hull in 2009

On an NFL Draft edition of Throwback Thursday, we revisit an interview with a future Nittany Lion star.

You know Mike Hull as the Penn State senior linebacker who led the Big Ten in tackles and won All-Conference honors in 2014. Hull will hear his name called at some point in this week's NFL Draft.

More than six years ago, Hull was the first member of Penn State's Class of 2010. Back then, we caught up with the five-star prospect at a Scout.com camp in Pittsburgh, where we were able to see him in action and conduct a one-on-one interview.

We're not sure which is more surprising:

That Hull looks an awful lot now like he did back then (just about 30 pounds heavier now).

Or that the network splurged for the expensive camp shirts. (We kid. All other Scout camps that year had cool shirts. A delivery issue in Pittsburgh forced the organizers to ad-lib).

OR … the high-tech videos FOS was producing at the time. ;)

Check it out above. It's fun.

The photo above is of Hull and a certain Hall of Fame PSU coach, with another five-star prospect and future Lion signee lurking in the background.

Meanwhile, here is a recent video interview with Hull.
