Nittany Lions Rollin' With Wheeler

One of the hot names on PSU message boards is Central Catholic (Pa.) defensive-tackle Rashad Wheeler. Wheeler currently holds 12 offers, but Penn State may be near the top in his recruitment. He gave FOS the latest where PSU stands in his recruitment.

Pennsylvania defensive tackle Rashad Wheeler continues to see more attention. The 3-star Central Catholic prospect talked with Fight On State about the Nittany Lions.

"Penn State is one of those schools that I've gotten to know the coaches well and they're on my favorites as of now. Coach Terry Smith and Coach Sean Spencer, have been telling me that they need defensive-tackles from my class," Wheeler explained.

When asked if that appeals to him he said, "It does. I feel like it's going to be a tough decision choosing because all the schools I am looking at are in need for defensive-tackles."

Wheeler and his mother will be attending next month "Lasch Bash" at PSU.

The 6-foot-4, 271 pound three-star defensive-tackle tells FOS he doesn't have a timeframe for his decision and will announce his top five on Saturday, June 20th.
