The visit was great, said Shared Tillman, Bostick's father. The coaches are so down to earth.
Bostick has been to PSU multiple times over the last couple of years, and with that in mind he was not concerned with checking out the Nittany Lions' facilities again. This trip was more about talking to the coaches regarding his role on the team in the future.
They told my son he'll be a lockdown perimeter defender, Tillman said.
Tillman said his son's commitment to Penn State is rock solid and he won't make official visits to any other schools before signing in November. Bostick is focused on helping the Lions land his teammate, Tony Carr (aka Tone), a four-star point guard for Roman.
Carr joined Bostick on this visit to PSU.
Tone would make the fourth Philly kid, Tillman said. They all know each others' game, so he's telling Tone it's all about chemistry. Tone is the final piece to the puzzle."
So what made Penn State the place to be for Bostick?
The coaches sealed the deal, Tillman said. Not one thing. He just felt real good vibes from all of them.
