I do believe that, Zettel said at PSU's Lift For Life Saturday. Not being biased or anything, but I think we have a lot to offer. He helps me a lot, I help him a lot -- just us competing with each other every day. I don't think there's a better duo in the country.
Zettel, a fifth-year senior, is a returning first-team All-Big Ten pick whose penchant for big plays has made him a popular choice for 2015 preseason All-America honors. Johnson, a redshirt junior nicknamed A.J., has been lauded by Nittany Lion coaches and teammates for doing a lot of the dirty work that allows Zettel and other defenders to make plays.
Both appear to have serious NFL potential.
They'll have a chance to prove themselves as the nation's best D-tackle tandem this season. In the meantime, before Saturday's charity event, they may well have staked a claim as the funniest duo from their position.
