Penn State Visit A Hit For LB Anthony

He's heading to IMG for his junior season but hopes to be back in Happy Valley in November.

Class of 2017 linebacker Jordan Anthony visited Penn State last Sunday, making the trip to Happy Valley with coaches and friends from the Washington, D.C., area.

With Anthony transferring from Good Counsel High in Olney, Md., to IMG Academy in Florida for his junior season, future visits to PSU won't be nearly as easy. So how did this trip go?

“It was great,” Anthony said. “I really enjoyed my time there. I was able to take a tour of the facilities with Coach (James) Franklin. I loved the campus and the plans for it. … PSU is planning on renovating their training facility and there are few new things they're building.”

The staff would love to see him back in November.

“The coaches were telling me about the Whiteout game against Michigan,” he said. “I'm going to try come to that game.”

The four-star LB says he doesn't have a top three as of right now, but the Penn State visit over the weekend has definitely moved the Lions up to where if he had a top three they would be in it.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder has no timeframe for making his college decision.
