Talking Penn State's New Speed Receivers

Penn State assistant Josh Gattis gives the latest on new speed receivers DeAndre Thompkins and Brandon Polk

The Penn State receiving corps was not exactly operating with a full set of weapons in 2014. One key component that was missing was a sub-4.5 40 speed guy who could operate out of the slot.

This year, assistant Josh Gattis' unit will have two of them. Redshirt freshman DeAndre Thompkins and true freshman Brandon Polk both figure to see plenty of playing time.

Neither is especially big. But they both can fly. Gattis talks about what each of them brings to the table — and how they are different — in the video above.
