Hackenberg Talks Penn State WRs

The veteran passer will be dealing with a much more experienced crew of wide receivers this season.

When it came to on-field personnel, much of the blame for Penn State's struggling offense in 2014 was placed at the feet of QB Christian Hackenberg and a line that gave up a school-record 44 sacks.

But the Nittany Lion receivers had their issues, too. The wideout corps Hackenberg threw to in 2014 caught a grand total of 22 passes in 2013. So everyone was learning on the fly.

The quarterback said this preseason has been a different story. Back in the fold is DaeSean Hamilton, who led the Big Ten in catches per game last fall. Geno Lewis, Chris Godwin and Saaed Blacknall all made big plays during the course of the season, too.

See what Hackenbeg had to say about the WRs above.
