Joe Murgo's Penn State-Temple Weather Report

WTAJ chief meteorologist Joe Murgo is back to give weekly weather reports for Nittany Lion football games. Of course, he offers up a game prediction, as well.

Hello Nittany Nation!

It's that time of the year again.

Penn State is heading to Philadelphia for its first game of the season against the Temple Owls at Lincoln Financial Field. The weather is going to be great for those fans heading to the football game.

There will be a good deal of sunshine on Saturday, which will help to make it warm for the pregame tailgates with temperatures rising through the 70s and into the low 80s.

The kickoff temperature will be 82 degrees with the mercury holding in the lower 80s for most of the game. This is going to feel quite hot if you sit in the sun, so make sure that you wear lightweight and light colored clothing. There will be little wind for the game, too.

The weather will also stay nice for the postgame festivities and the trip home to Happy Valley.
