It wasn't pretty. And there was another key injury.
But Penn State (1-1) rebounded from a tough opening loss at Temple by beating Buffalo 27-14 at Beaver Stadium Saturday afternoon. The Nittany Lions rushed for 200 yards on the game, 115 of them by freshman Saquon Barkley. Akeel Lynch (shown above) had 46 yards on the ground and rookie WR Brandon Polk ran for 45 yards.
The bad news? At the end of the first half, left tackle Andrew Nelson sustained what appeared to be a serious injury to his left knee.
