PSU D-End's Intense Reaction To Alma Mater

Nittany Lion DE Carl Nassib's motor never stops. After destroying Buffalo Saturday, he was every bit as intense during the traditional singing of the Penn State alma mater. Expect chills if you are a Lion fan.

Penn State senior defensive end Carl Nassib destroyed the Buffalo offense Saturday. The 6-foot-7, 272-pounder marauded through the Bulls’ backfield, coming away with three sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception in a 27-14 win at Beaver Stadium.

After it was over, he showed the same intensity during the PSU alma mater, which the team sings in front of the student section after every home game.

Check it out above. Nassib, who shows up on the far right of the frame (No. 95), initially has some fun with the lyrics, which you can hear (well, you can hear the parts we didn’t bleep).

But when the song’s signature line — “May no act of ours bring shame” — hits, Nassib clearly gets emotional. It is sure to bring chills to Nittany Lion fans.
