Scouting Penn State Rookie RB Saquon Barkley

We were following the one-time Rutgers commit long before he began making highlight reel plays in Happy Valley. Check out our Scouting Report on the dynamic young back.

Penn State rookie running back Saquon Barkley had a breakout game vs. Buffalo at Beaver Stadium Saturday, going off for 115 yards and his first career score on 12 carries.

As Nittany Lion fans know, he ran around, through and over the Bulls in the 27-14 win.

The timing of his huge game is interesting in that Barkley was a one-time Rutgers commit who ended up shifting his allegiance to Penn State shortly after James Franklin arrived in Happy Valley. The Nittany Lions and Scarlet Knight square off in Beaver Stadium this weekend.
