Penn State LB Cabinda Wins Press Conference

The outgoing young linebacker had an impressive debut as one of the featured speakers at the Nittany Lions' weekly PC. Terrific stuff from the 19-year-old on his mom, his personality, a new position, PSU coaching changes, Linebacker U role models and more.

After Penn State starting middle linebacker Nyeem Wartman-White was knocked out for the season due to a knee injury in the opening loss to Temple, 19-year-old true sophomore outside 'backer Jason Cabinda was asked to replace him for a Week 2 game vs, Buffalo. In a 27-14 win over the Bulls, Cabinda finished with six tackles and appeared to do a good job of directing the defense.

At PSU's weekly press conference at Beaver Stadium, the New Jersey native was asked to step up as a spokesman for the Lions as they prepare to face Rutgers in  the Big Ten opener this week.

See how he did in the video above.
