Penn State rookie running back Saquon Barkley had an impressive outing against Buffalo, rolling up 115 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown. The effort was appreciated by Nittany Lion fans who votes him their FOS Player of the Buffalo Game with 47 percent of the vote.
Barkley just edged out another standout in defensive end Carl Nassib who ended up with five tackles (4 solo), three tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception. Nassib ended up with 43 percent of the an vote.
The Fight On State Player of the Game honor is the longest running PSU player award given by Nittany Lion fans. Voting is conducted exclusively at FightOnState.com after Penn State games.
