Penn State DT Anthony Zettel Named Co-Defensive Player of Week by Big Ten

Penn State DT Anthony Zettel named Big Ten's Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Penn State redshirt senior defensive tackle Anthony Zettel Co-Defensive Player of the Week by the Big Ten with Michigan State's Shilique Calhoun. Amazingly, this was Zettel's first Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Zettel grabbed a team-and career-high seven tackles against San Diego State. He also grabbed a fumble recovery, the second of his career and defelected a pass. This is the third Big Ten weekly honor for the Nittany Lions this season as Saquon Barkley was previously named Big Ten Freshman of the Week in back-to-back games.
