Former Linebacker U. Standouts Posluszny and Lee Leading NFL in Tackles

Linebacker U. alumni Paul Posluszny and Sean Lee are leading the NFL as two of the most productive tacklers.

Former Nittany Lion linebacker standouts Paul Posluszny and Sean Lee are currently leading the NFL in total tackles. Posluszny is currently tied for the league's best tackler with Baltimore's Daryl Smith at 34 total tackles. What's even more impressive is that the Jacksonville Jaguar leads the league with 29 solo tackles, six more than any other player.

Sean Lee has the second most NFL takedowns this season with 33. The Cowboy also has one sack on the year thus far and has been an instrumental diemension for the Dallas defense.

Both players have also gabbed an interception this season.

Lee and Posluszny's careers overlapped at in Happy Valley. In fact, in the 2006 Orange Bowl stepped in for Posluszny after he went down with a knee injury.
