Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg passed for 262 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for another two scores as the Nittany Lions beat Indiana 29-7 at Beaver Stadium Saturday.
PSU improved to 2-0 in the Big Ten (for the first time since 2012) and 5-1 overall. The Hoosiers fell to 0-2 in the conference and 4-2 overall.
Hackenberg opened the scoring with a 39-yard wheel rout to Brandon Polk in the first quarter. He added a 39-yard strike to DaeSean Hamilton in the second quarter, and TD carries of one yard (second quarter) and five yards (third quarter) as PSU won going away.
