Penn State-Indiana: Brennan Report Card

Who made the grade and who came up short at the Nittany Lions dominated the Hoosiers in Happy Valley? We let you know.

Our report card from Penn States 29-7 win over Indiana at Beaver Stadium Saturday.

OVERALL: If you had Penn State winning this game by three touchdowns, please raise your hand. (We didnt think so.)

Grade: B+

OFFENSE: We liked the job John Donovan and company did calling plays. The execution was not perfect, but good enough on this day.

Grade: B

DEFENSE: Sure, it was against backup QB(s). But thats still a dangerous Indiana offense. PSUs attacking style stymied the Hoosiershurry-up style.

Grade: A

SPECIAL TEAMS: Maybe the Big Toe doesnt like kicking in perfect conditions. PSU can only hope that was an aberration. And falling for an onside kick?

Grade: D+

COACHING: Nice preparation and adjustments on both sides of the ball.

Grade: A

INTANGIBLES: Indiana remains winless (0-8) in Happy Valley.

Grade: A

OTHER GUY: Key injuries and a post-Ohio State hangover hurt.

Grade: D+

OFFICIALS: Missed some calls both ways. Hard to believe the IU O-line was not flagged for holding even once given how PSUs D-line was ripping through it.

Grade: C

CROWD: Cant even crack 100k for Homecoming? Were guessing this will be the last time you see five straight home games for Penn State.

Grade: B-
