Penn State's James Franklin: Big Toe Is "Our Guy"

During his Tuesday press conference at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany Lion coach addressed his starting place-kicker. Joey Julius missed two extra points in last weekend's win over Indiana.

During his weekly press conference at Beaver Stadium Tuesday, Penn State coach James Franklin was asked about kicker Joey "Big Toe" Julius, who was pulled from placement dutiies in last weekend's win over Indiana after missing a pair of extra points.

"Joey is our guy," Franklin said, and said if the Nittany Lions were playing Tuesday Julius would be the starter. But Franklin added that the redshirt freshman will have to continue to prove himself this week in practice. Check out Franklin's comments above.

Penn State (5-1) figures to need every point it can get this weekend, when it travels to Ohio State to face the undefeated and No. 1 Buckeyes.
