Nittany Lions Feeling The Noise While Prepping For No. 1 Ohio State

Max out the audio on your computer or handheld device to get a feel for how loud things are as Penn State prepares to play in The Horseshoe.

As loud as the music and noise were at Penn State's practice Wednesday, it would not have been at all surprising to find Nigel Tufnel at the controls — with everything cranked up to 11.

Instead it was Nittany Lion director of a bunch of things and  D.J. extraordinaire P.J. Mullen, whose description of the noise level was a Tuflnel-esque "very loud."

Penn State faces No. 1 Ohio State in 104,944-seat Ohio Stadium Saturday night, in what will be its first truely hostile environment of the season. To prepare, head coach James Franklin is having Mullen blast a mix of music and crowd noise during pracice this week. You can get a feel for it above.

For the maximum effect, be sure to turn your audio up to 11 (or however high it may go).
