Penn State offensive coordinator John Donovan's was finally made available to the media Thursday, as the Nittany Lions were putting the finishing touches on game prep for Saturday's trip to Columbus to face No. 1 Ohio State.
Reporters had been anxious to talks to Donovan since the offense laid an egg in a 27-10 season-opening loss at Temple. Five home wins later, they finally got their chance Thursday morning.
Though the Nittany Lions are sitting at 5-1 heading into the showdown with the undefeated Buckeyes, they rank 103rd in the nation and next to last in the Big Ten in total offense.
During Thursday's call with the media, Donovan was asked about that, fan criticism of his work, the idea that head coach James Franklin has been come more involved in the play-calling and many other topics. Listen in to the teleconference above.
