Penn State defensive end was honored with another national award, this time the Lott IMPACT Trophy as the college defensive player who had the most significant influence on his team. Nassib received the honor over safety Jeremy Cash of Duke, linebacker Tyler Matakevich of Temple and linebacker Joshua Perry of Ohio State.
Nassib received the award Sunday evening at a banquet at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach, California.
Nassib also received the Lombardi Award as the best lineman in college football and has been named to first team All-American squads by Associated Press, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and Walter Camp.

Nassib is the first Nittany Lion to win the Lott IMPACT Trophy in its 12 year history. Former winners include Eric Kendricks, Manti Te'o and J.J. Watt.
