Penn State football fans voted senior Carl Nassib their defensive MVP and freshman running back Saquon Barkley their offensive MVP. Now it's time for Nittany Nation faithful to vote for who the think deserves to be the overall MVP for PSU's fooball squad this season.

Saquon Barkley, RB, Freshman

On the year Barkely rolled up 1,007 yards (6.1 YPC), setting the Penn State freshman record, on 165 carries with seven touchdowns on the ground. He also pulled in 15 catches for 148 yards (9.9 YPC) and another score. Barkley ran away with the PSU fan O-MVP vote, grabbing 77 percent of the ballots, beating out junior quarterback Christian Hackenberg who ended up with 17 percent.

Carl Nassob, DE, Senior

With 46 tackles (31 solo) Nassib not only lead the nation in sacks with 15.5, but also broke Penn State's sack record this season. He also had 19.5 tackles for loss, one interception, one pass breakup and six forced fumbles. As the wrecking ball up front for the Nittany Lion defense, Nassib sacked the Penn State fan D-MVP vote with 82 percent of the ballots. Austin Johnson coming in second with nine percent.
