Penn State TaxSlayer Bowl Postgame PC

See what head coach James Franklin and receiver Chris Godwin had to say from the main podium after the Nittany Lions' 24-17 loss to Georgia.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Penn State head coach James Franklin is not often upstaged. But that is exactly what happened after the Nittany Lions' 24-17 TaxSlayer Bowl loss to Georgia here Saturday.

Franklin held his postgame press conference shortly after PSU left the field, and he was joined on the main podium by WR Chris Godwin. They talked about everything that transpired in the game, including falling behind early, rallying late and backup QB Trace McSorely stepping in for starter Christian Hackenberg.

Not long afterward however, Hackenberg declared for the 2016 NFL Draft. And not long after that, DT Austin Johnson declared, too.

So in case you got caught up in our coverage of those events (you can see video interviews with both guys below), we did want to give you a chance to check out the entire postgame PC from the podium. Yuo can see that out above.
