No. 1 Penn State Wrestlers Win B1G Title

The No. 1 Nittany Lions claimed a share of the 2016 Big Ten Wrestling Dual Meet Championship with Iowa with weekend wins over Lehigh and Michigan State.

No. 1 Penn State had a big weekend on the mats, opening up with a 28-9 victory over No. 6 Lehigh and closing the weekend slate with a 41-3 victory over No. 14 Michigan State. The undefeated (15-0, 9-0 B1G) Nittany Lions earned a share of the Big Ten title with Iowa. Each squad finished 9-0 in conference action.

Next up Penn State will serve as host site for the 2016 NWCA Dual Meet Championship Series title event. No. 1 Penn State will host No. 2 Oklahoma State (12-2) on Sunday, February 21 at 5 p.m. in Rec Hall. The event, which is already sold out, will air live on the Big Ten Network.
