Penn State Coach Pat Chambers’ Post-Illinois Press Conference

The Nittany Lions' double OT victory to close the regular season was important on many levels. See what Chambers had to say after the game.

By beating Illinois 86-79 in double overtime at the Jordan Center Sunday, Penn State improved to 7-11 in the Big Ten.

That marks the most conference wins for the Nittany Lions under fifth-year head coach Pat Chambers. And PSU also earned an opening-day bye in this week's B1G Tournament, the first time in program history that has happened.

All in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year.
