Why Did PSU Pass On Postseason Bid?

Nittany Lion coach Pat Chambers talks about it from his season-wrap press conference

Penn State finished the 2015-16 season at 16-16 overall.

Though the Nittany Lions were eligible to play in the postseason, once the NIT passed on them head coach Pat Chambers decided not to pursue bids to any of the lesser tournaments.

At his season-ending press conference Wednesday, Chambers explained why he opted not to participate in the CBI or Vegas 16 (which became the Vegas 8). Check it out in our Film & Fire video from the Bryce Jordan Center.
