Get To Know Penn State DB John Reid

The sophomore met the media for the first time as a Nittany Lion. Check out the press conference.

As a true freshman at Penn State last season, cornerback John Reid was thrown right into the fire. He started his first career game, replacing the injured Grant Haley in the 2015 opener at Temple.

Reid went on to play in every game, making a pair of starts. He finished with 29 tackles, five pass break-ups, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.

But per head coach James Franklin’s policy, the rookie was not allowed to tackle any interviews last season.

So when Reid met the media following practice Wednesday, it marked his first official press conference since becoming a Nittany Lion.

See how he handled himself above, as he talks about his quick transition to the college game, depth in the secondary, departed defensive coordinator Bob Shoop and much more.
