Penn State Helmets To Feature Special Sticker For Blue-White Game

The famously plain headgear will carry an Uplifting Athletes logo to raise awareness for the organization that allows college football programs to help in the fight against rare diseases.

Penn State’s famously unadorned helmets will have a bit of a different look for Saturday’s Blue-White Game at Beaver Stadium. The addition will be there for a good cause.

The back of each helmet will feature an Uplifting Athletes sticker.  The stickers are meant to raise awareness for UA, the national organization that allows college football programs to help in the fight against rare diseases.

Also, five of the game balls will carry a UA logo. The footballs will be autographed by PSU coaches and auctioned off after the game to raise money for the Penn State chapter of Uplifting Athletes, which is dedicated to the fight against kidney cancer.

During Saturday’s game, details for Penn State Uplifting Athletes 2016 Lift For Life Challenge will be announced, too.

In the 2015 Blue-White Game, PSU worse UA patches on its jerseys.
