Ohio OL Miranda Commits To Lions, Remains Silent

The big offensive lineman picked Penn State Thursday but is waiting until Friday to comment on the commitment.

Penn State coach James Franklin keeps adding beef to his Class of 2017.

After visiting Happy Valley for the Blue-White Game last weekend, Ohio offensive lineman Mike Miranda committed to the Nittany Lions Thursday.

The Scout.com three-star standout is a 6-foot-4, 300-pounder who projects as a guard or center at the next level. He confirmed the commitment in a text to FOS recruiting reporter Patrick Loney Thursday night but said he wanted to wait until Friday to do and interviews on the subject. He did, however, eventually make the following tweet.

Before the Blue-White Game Saturday, PSU landed Pennsylvania tackle C.J. Thorpe and New Jersey tackle Rob Martin. Miranda is the seventh member of the class to date.
