Penn State Extends Offer To 2019 DB Nyquee Hawkins

The young secondary standout has already made multiple visits to Happy Valley. What did he think of the Nittany Lions' offer?

Penn State Nittany Lions extended an offer to rising sophomore cornerback Nyquee Hawkins during his visit to Penn State today.

Hawkins, who goes to Orange High School in New Jersey, also has an offer from Connecticut.  The Penn State campus was familiar territory for Hawkins because he had visited "three or four different times."

"They liked the kind of person I am and the type of family I have," said Hawkins.  "They also like my size."

The 6-foot. 170-pounder had great things to say about the camps and the football team.

"I love everything about Penn State," said Hawkins.  "I love the atmosphere.  The coaches are cool and I'm starting to create a bond with them.  The facilities are one of the best that I've seen so far and I can't wait to go back."

Hawkins did hint at when he would return for another visit.  "I can't wait to come back to the "White-Out" home game against Ohio State.  I feel like Penn State is going to have a good team this year."
