It was a sweltering afternoon in Beaver Stadium for Penn State Photo Day Sunday.
But right when everyone thought the event was complete — with the taking of pictures of the Nittany Lions' entire staff — head coach James Franklin had one more posed photo in mind — shots of the collected media.
So he grabbed a camera from a reporter and asked the members of the press — most of them photographers and videographers — to step IN FRONtT of the camera.
Of course, Franklin never quite figured out how to work the contraption in his hands. But PSU team photographer Mark Selders turned his camera over to director of football operations Michael Hazel, a new dad who clearly knows about taking photos. Meanwhile, director of player development and community relations P.J. Mullen pried my video camera — aka BrennanCam — out of my hands. (OK, I actually handed it over with no complaints.)
Above, you can see what happened when Franklin decided to turn the tables — and the cameras — on the media via BrennanCam (or MullenCam).
