The big news Wednesday was revealed after Penn State's practice in Holuba Hall Wednesday, as redshirt sophomore Trace McSorley was named the Nittany Lions' starting quarterback.
But we were there for the final portion of the workout, just the same.
It was a laid back affair, as Penn State practiced in helmets, jerseys and shorts. And the Lions spent most of the time while we were there running through plays at half speed.
